- Access to more information;
- Varying situations occur in other regions;
- Sometimes when dealing with rural issues, we can have more input from other regions such as Saskatchewan; Nova Scotia, Alberta
- All of my projects require some form of bench marking to establish best practices nationally. I struggle in finding good resources to support such data collection in Canada.
- Allows us to identify new approaches
- Although we may live and work at long distances from each other, issues are often similar.
- Approaches to planning, policy development, community engagement differ from across the country and we can learn a great deal from other ways of doing things.
