Valuing the Ability to Share Information With and From Other Regions in Canada #2

Comments from early respondents to the LIN Survey

  •  Access to more information;
  • Varying situations occur in other regions;
  • Sometimes when dealing with rural issues, we can have more input from other regions such as Saskatchewan; Nova Scotia, Alberta
  •  All of my projects require some form of bench marking to establish best practices nationally. I struggle in finding good resources to support such data collection in Canada.
  • Allows us to identify new approaches
  • Although we may live and work at long distances from each other, issues are often similar.
  •  Approaches to planning, policy development, community engagement differ from across the country and we can learn a great deal from other ways of doing things.
