The Challenge of Mobilizing 40K + Orgs to Battle Inactivity

Who are the LEADERS who can mobilize 40k plus organizations to attack the crisis of inactivity of Canadian children and youth?

Creating measurable, achievable outcomes!

Moving the needle!!! More ACTIVE young people!!

The organizations include governments at three levels, philanthropic foundations, the private sector, charitable non-profit sector, academic institutions, front line government services and thousands of volunteers ++++

Without a Common agenda and a Battle Plan all the money being spent will not achieve the desired outcomes. The Report Card process has proved that!

Lots of yelling about the crisis and a whack a mole approach to dealing with it.

Who has the credibility to: (not a complete list but you get the idea)
  1. Facilitate an Inactivity Battle Plan Summit (explain the process)
  2. Bringing researchers together to clearly articulate the inactivity issue so everyone understands all the aspects of inactivity
  3. Facilitate an inventory of ALL programs and services currently being provided in Canada.
  4. Bring together strategic thinkers to map out a Battle Plan Framework
  5. Bring together the Funders (Public, Private, Charitable Foundations) to address the costs
Identify all the funding elements and determine who will fund what
  6. Bring together the leadership of the 40K to explain the plan and get tactical buy-in and rough in the logistics
  7. Establish a research agenda
  8. Establish the data collection tools and processes
  9. Bring together the Marketing teams
  10. Identify the information Hub
  11. Evaluation process
If one Bank can commit $100M for five years to one organization imagine what all the potential funders can put on the table to address the Battle Plan.

This is at least a ten year project.
